Warranty for LZ New Zealand Group of Companies

When you purchase from LZ New Zealand, you purchase with confidence as we stand behind our products. Unless otherwise stated, all LZ New Zealand products are backed by a minimum 24 month warranty from the date of purchase. (Please note specific warranty periods below) If the goods are being purchased for a business purpose then the purchaser acknowledges that the Consumer Guarantees Act will not apply.

LED retrofit lamps - 6 month warranty

LED downlights - 24 month warranty

LED floodlights - 24 month warranty

LED highbays - 24 month warranty

LED street lighting - 60 month warranty

Hybrid street lighting systems - 60 month warranty

Solar Photovoltaic - 60 month warranty

Wind Turbines - 60 month warranty

LZ New Zealand’s warranty policy covers claims for any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of installation, modifications to safety features, misuse, tampering, accident, acts of god, or general wear and tear (including exterior fading due to environmental conditions) is not covered by LZ New Zealand’s warranty policy.

If the product you purchased is still under warranty, then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired and/or replacement product to you (the cost of freighting faulty product to us is at your expense). If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the costs of the repair and all freight charges will be charged to the customer.

LZ New Zealand’s warranty policy for any product claim made: a) Whenever possible, we will endeavour to repair any fault to a factory issue standard and return it to you at no charge. (the cost of freighting faulty product to us is at your expense) b) If the repair is not possible / practical, LZ New Zealand will replace the product with the same or similar product. c) If a repair / replacement are not possible due to the product being unavailable or end of line, we will exchange it for any LZ New Zealand’s product range of the same value as your original purchase price.
